Decoding if the title of this picture is 95. We celebrated my mother’s 95th birthday last December. We presented her with a very special bunch of orchids surrounded with ninety-five pieces of cherry bonbons. I wanted to make another surprise to her, this was the reason to make this picture. I remembered that I had stamps with orchids issued by Togo in 1999. I was happy to have the needed quantity of them. Having the ninety-five pieces cut I knew already how I would place them. I drew the motif and chose the rights stamps for the background. The blue and green stamps from Ghana proved to be an excellent choice.
